• Hi.

My website is showing an odd error.

There are currently 45 published posts in total with pages set to show 5 posts per page.

If the user clicks on pages 1,2,3,4 or 5, the website displays the posts correctly. However, if the user clicks on 6,7 or any other subsequent page an Error 404 page is returned.

    I cannot understand it.

Does anybody know what might be happening here?

    Your theme is

    Theme Name: Free Structure
    	Theme URL: https://www.organicthemes.com/
Description: The Premium Structure Theme is designed and developed by David Morgan of Organic Themes.
    	Author: Organic Themes
    	Author URI: https://www.organicthemes.com
    	Version: v3.2

Do you have the free or the paid version?

If you do have 45 posts, then something is broken and it is probably in the theme. However, to check, disable all of your plugins and see if that helps. Then test the site using the default theme (one of the themes that ships with WordPress).

    Hi.

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.

I have the free version. After spending some testing this it’s fairly clear what is happening.

The issue is not post-related, it’s page-related. No matter how many posts are on the site, or how many posts are set to appear per page, once you get to page 7 and beyond (e.g. https://www.andymcgeady.com/page/7/) the site returns a Page Not Found error. I have tested this against all combinations of the above that I can think of.

    Can you please investigate?
