• For the past week or so, when I attempt to add a link in the Visual editor, the bottom portion of the Insert/Edit Link box where existing pages usually appear is empty.

I have a technical background, so the issue is a matter of convenience more than a limiting problem.

    – I have tried disabling all plugins and the problem persists.
    – I have tried changing themes and the problem persists.
    – Clearing browser cache and different browsers.
    – Verified WordPress URL in settings as correct.

    Any other thoughts/suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks for the response. I have now. ?? Still no luck.

The only thing I suspect is the SiteLock trust seal which I tried out. I don’t think it’s a plugin, but maybe that’s how it operates behind the scenes.

Regardless, I removed that several days ago because I didn’t like the placement.

However, this is the only event that seemed to possibly coincide with the existing pages no longer being listed in the link box.

    Thanks again.
