XDForum Install

  • Okay. so I have the thing installed, how in the world can i enbale it as I would a new page or whatever?

    Do you know what I mean? I need the forum to show up in the navigation and be able to navigate to. How do I enable this?

  • You can create a Page and use the Redirectify plugin to point it wherever you want:

    When you install xdforum it autocreates a page for itself titled “Forum”, which shows in the sidebar list of pages – if you have the list of pages enabled.

    I did not get a Page titled Forum. Should I find it in Manage -> Pages? (XDForum Ver 1.28)

    it all depends on you theme. if you dont have pages in your theme somewhere it doesnt have anything to add it to. upgrade to the latest xdforum and it will give you a link in the admin area that you can use to insert into your theme somewhere manually.
