• I am trying to add a contact form to my blog. I have a hosted blog and have activated the Jetpack plugin, which includes a contact form.

I added the contact form to a “Contact” page, but when I preview the page, the name is pre-populated with the blog name (Ahstruck), and the email address is pre-populsted with the admin’s email address.

You can see the result here: wwww.ahstruck.com/contact and /contact2

The first time I tried this, I *did* fill in the “Email Notifications” options and so I thought that was the problem. (/Contact). So I made a second page, added the contact form to that page, and *did not* fill in the “Email Notifications” options — with the same result (/Contact2).

What’s wrong? Obviously a contact form with the admin’s name and email address is not acceptable.

  • Hello Laurie,

I think the issue you’re having is that you are logged in. Try visiting your site in a browser that you are not logged into. It prefills the form only if you’re already logged in. Upon visiting your site, I saw an empty form.
