[Plugin: Haiku minimalist audio player] Hitting play opens song file up in new tab

I’ve installed the player and it works however not as I would intend. I want the viewer to stay on my blog post and be able to view images and listen to the player. Currently, the player opens up in a new window leaving my site. How can this be corrected?
I’m seeing this in Chrome.
