[Plugin: WP-HTML-Compression] Single white space is left after compression output between tags

Hi, The plugin is working fine but I would like to know that why a single white space is kept left between tags?
sample:
</script> </div> </div> </body> </html>Wouldn’t be nice even eliminating these spaces between tags…
