How to Remove Duplicate Title

  • I checked in Google Webmaster Tools HTML improvements and it says that I have over 100 duplicate title tags. Each individual blog post is showing up in the search engine with Easy Scholarships Now >> before it. So it’s like this: Easy Scholarships Now >> [title of blog post]. How do I get rid of that part so that just the title of the blog post is showing? Thanks!

  • Many times this is caused by an SEO related plugin. If you are using such a plugin, try disabling it to see if the problem goes away. If it does, look for an option in the plugin that sets the title.
