[Plugin: podPress] "Add Media File" Button Not Responding

  • With a recent WordPress update the PodPress player on one of my sites quite working. When I add a post and go to add the link to my file I click on the “Add Media File” button and…nothing. Nothing happens. Any suggestions? This has been down for a few weeks now and I have to get it back up and running or change to a different mp3 player.

    In my list of plugins it shows that my PodPress version is 8.8.10.13.

    Your description of the problem leads me believe that there might be a Javascript error. I can also say that this error does not occur in every blog – for instance in none of my blogs.
    I’m not sure why this problem occurs in your blog. But it is likely that the problem is the result of an unwanted interference of podPress with a different plugin.
    Do you use a plugin which adds elements to the Edit Post page too? Which one?

    Please, try to find out whether a Javascript error occurs on that page.
    (Open the error console of your browser, clear it and open or reload the Edit Post page. Can you see errors?)
