• Hello…
I am a very beginner user, and was playing around in Dashboard.
In the setting “general” section, I found this “redirection” column.

As I was trying to change the host for another website I have(which has no contents and registered with “Google Site”), I naively put redirection address from “my website with wordpress” to “another website with Google Site”.

And now I can’t even go to my original website dashboard or change any setting with wordpress, because it says

    404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hongjoos.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

Please help me! What should I do now?

Yep. Changing that field breaks the site. Don’t ask me why it’s accessible on the admin panel.

You’ll have to go into the database via PHPMyAdmin, go to the options table, and change that field back. This happens often enough that there should be a tutorial for fixing it if you Google around.

    Thanks for the reply!
I didn’t know where to find the “PHPMyAdmin” then realized it’s probably the hosting stuff… so I went in there.

Then I find this line on the options table – then I was stupid and deleted this line! I still can’t access to my website.

It’s all programming stuff. I am so confused…

But I updated the wordpress to 3.4 and now I am able to access my website again…! it’s interesting how everything is okay while I have no clue what happened. Thank you anyway!
