Formatting of Author bio page

Hi all, we have a site here.

On this site, our members enter their details via the dashboard. By visiting the above link you will notice that the biography section isn’t formatted.

Is there a way to enable us to do this? The only html tags that work are

<b> and <u>

I have tried

<p> and </p>, <hr>, <br>

But none of those end up coming through the to users homepage.

Does somebody know how to acheive this?
