• Twice now I’ve had Blue Host shut down my blog because it was using too much CPU — even though I pay for “Pro Hosting.” Each time they had me uninstall all plug-ins, then reinstall one at a time, and each time they isolated the problem as Jetpack. I’d like to know if others have this problem and if deactivating those aspects of Jetpack that I’m not using (most of them) will fix it? Thanks.

Deactivating the modules of Jetpack you aren’t using will help to a degree. I run Jetpack on several sites and regularly monitor CPU usage; my usage is not very high. Without some data from Blue Host as to what is “too high,” I’m at a loss as to what the issue could be.
