Clicking widgets menu option reverts all widget settings to old configuration

  • When open up the widgets configuration page the site immediately reverts to a very old widget configuration. Its a configuration that I set up right at the beginning of my installation. The only way to fix it seems to be to roll back the database from last night’s backup. https://www.lajollatravelinformation.com

    I have tried updating WP to the 3.4.2. I’ve also tried disabling any recent plugins but the same issue persists.

    I’m using Da Vinci 2.0.4 theme though the theme developers feel this isn’t a theme issue.

    Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

    Resolved.

    I tried switching to the standard (Eleven) theme. This time the widgets panel did not revert after the switch this time when I accessed it.

    I then switched back to the Da Vinci Theme. Everything restored OK and upon returning to the widgets panel the confuration remained as it should.
