Unable To Edit,Freezes,Exits From WordPress!

  • My wordpress site has gone haywire.When I try and make a post it freezes and won’t allow me to type or move any widgets etc.then it exits wordpress to a folder that is opened on my computer.I can’t really trace it back to a plugin but I haven’t deactivated then activated my plugins yet to see if that is the issue.To save me time anyone with an idea if it probably is an incompatible plugin or another issue.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I deactivated all plugins and activated each one at a time and I had problems with multiple plugins working properly.I reset the plugins folder and no change.Any more suggestions.

    Sounds like you have 1 or more bad plugins.
