• I’m starting off with photography and design and currently have zenfolio, which I use a little bit.

It is limited with the design and no css editing option, so now I’m checking out WordPress.

Has anyone used the themes from elegantthemes.com? They have the best pricing that I have run into so far and really good themes as well.

In the future, I’m interested in selling photos and designs through the website I create with wordpress. I have it narrowed down to the “WordPress Estore” plug-in from tips and tricks.com.

Hopefully I can get some feedback about that as well from any one on here.

I’m on a limited budget and so far wordpress looks like a good option.

  • Elegant Themes have good quality themes and solid support. However there are lots of other good premium WordPress themes worth looking at also. It’s really a matter of finding who has the best theme design for your needs.

There are probably better and free ecommerce options. For example Jigoshop, WP-ecommerce, WooCommerce etc. WooCommerce is probably the best and it’s free.

There are also photography / portfolio WordPress themes available with WooCommerce integration that might be worth looking at. For example Photographer theme from Organic Themes, Photostore from Mint Themes etc.

You won’t go wrong with WordPress.
