• I have the settings so that I am supposed to get an email to my registered email forward address set up through my web hosting, but I never get emails when forms are filled out.

I also have a text box with a email validator set up in the forms and have the settings so that it sends an email notification to the entry in that text box. However, no one ever receives an email after they submit a form.

I even tried entering additional email addresses and separated them by commas to see if that would work but none of the addresses received emails.

What am I doing wrong? https://www.jaxpagan.org

  • Did you get this working? I have the same issue. I have to login to word press to access the notifications.

We had the same problem with some of the email addresses and found out it was the email host, i.e., Roadrunner. May not be the answer, but that’s what we found out.

I was not able to find a complete solution yet. I did fix it so that I am finally getting email notifications. I went into the email forward that I created through iPage and selected a few more settings for it to forward to my account and it started sending me updates. Strange since it would send us all normal emails without those settings. However, it still will not send emails to the person filling out the form.

There isn’t anything you are doing wrong, this is a bug with form manager. It sends two e-mails back to back, one to the form user and the other to admin. This keeps the admin’s e-mail address out of the form user’s message. Unfortunately the rapid sending of two different e-mails is often picked up by the host’s spam prevention.

Has anyone had issues with SOME of the notification emails going through and others not? Our form is set up so once it’s filled out, 4 people get e-mail notifications, but only two of the four have been receiving them. And it’s not getting stuck in their spam filter.

Same issue here…getting it working intermittently. Using custom notifications…sometimes they go through to user, and administrator…sometimes one or the other…sometimes neither.

Rescinding my “same issue here” comment…seems the mail server itself was going slowly…all notifications did arrive.

I’ve just setup Form Manager for the first time, and am unable to geet the form to send to me, nor the confirmation to the submitter.

Otherwise, email from my site works fine. I get notified of registrations, posts, etc. So this is not a generalized problem with php.ini.

If this is a bug, as per Campbell, above, cannot a delay between mail sends be built in? Has this been dealt with, or is it a continuing problem

I got the same problem on https://www.aquadomia.com/WPTEST/devis/
When I first install form manager evrything was working well with both email to me and to the user but know nothing happens !

Otherwise, email from my site works fine. I get notified of registrations, posts, etc. So this is not a generalized problem with php.ini.

Same issue, though it works on another wp install on the same server. flummoxed

@dfreemanujm The USER EMAIL can just be a validated email field in your form itself that folks can optionally enter, without requiring a user to log in (Of course, if you let this field be optional, then the user won’t get any notification). You then select that field in the right side panel under Email Notifications. I’m doing this on my registration form for a summer gathering, however none of my users are getting their notifications right now, I’m assuming due to the plugin bug that @hoffman talks about above. It’s this bug I need fixed, like can’t a delay be placed between the User email and admin notifications? My site.
