Loading single.php content into div on index

How would I go about loading in post’s single.php content into a div on the sites homepage?

I my homepage(index) I want to have the posts thumbnails and when clicks load in the posts content into a content div. I would also like deep linking as in when the content is loaded in it changes the URL so that if someone shares the link itll do to the homepage and open that post?
