[Plugin: Role Scoper] .htaccess probleam

    Hi,
    First I would like to thank you the author of this plugin for it.
    Secondly, the probleam is that RS is adding news lines to .htaccess file in a daily bases and that is causing to block the access to the website under internal server error

    How could I stop RS from doing that anymore? as I can’t really keep on deleting the lines manually everyday

    Please note that I need to use RS to restrict access only for categories and nothing else so is there any unnecessary settings that I should remove?

    This does not occur under normal circumstances. We have corresponded before but I have been unable to determine what is triggering this behavior on your site. The current development version 1.3.57-dev and upcoming 1.3.57 contain a workaround. After installing one of those versions (or later), add the following to wp-config.php, above the “stop editing” line:

    define( 'SCOPER_NO_HTACCESS', true );
