• I don’t use smilies on my site, but as I was going through the WP OPTIONS, I noticed that the upgrade to 1.0 did not change the path to the smilies directory…it is still pointing to the old b2-img folder.
So, if you do an upgrade, and have a problem with smilies, I’d suggest checking that setting first, to ensure that it’s pointing to the correct folder.

  • yeah, happened with me too!
also, can anyone provide me with different smilies for the same keywords? the yellow ones are too boring ??

Here’s something to look through: https://www.mazeguy.net/expressive.html
There seems to be smilies for everything there.

I changed my smilies path to /wp-images/smilies, and have General Blog settings set to use_smilies TRUE (1 is not an option in the dropdown).
So how do I get the smilies to show? I haven’t seen any clickable smilie things, or a keyword list though. What am I missing?
