    Hello! I discovered this plug-in earlier today and it’s pretty much perfect for the project I’m currently working on.

    Now, I have a couple of questions that I’ve been unable to answer by reading the docs and searching the forum. I apologize if the answers are out there somewhere, but I couldn’t find them.

    The first one is about users and the Events/Recurring Events/Locations lists in the Dashboard. Is there any way to keep a low-level user from seeing any information but their own? For the kind of project I’m working on it would be better if low-level users were restricted to only seeing the events and locations listed under “Mine”.

    The second question is about the permalink slugs: Can the event slugs be modified to include the location? Something like “site.com/location-name/events/event-name” instead of the default “site.com/events/event-name” would be perfect.

    Thanks!

    Thanks aglonwl, User Capabilities was the first place I tried but I can’t find any option to actually restrict any user from seeing others’ events and locations. I see the options to keep them from editing or using that info, but it’s still visible to them. Could you please point out the exact option to do that, if there’s one?

    I found a way to do it, by restricting access to other users’ posts/media in my functions.php file.

    I’m marking this as solved, thanks!

    Hi SrGatonegro,

    I am trying to do the same thing. can you please share the code.

    Thanks.

    Hi nitin_2k1

    I can’t find the original page where I got the code, but here it is from my functions file:

            $wp_query->set( 'author', $current_user->ID );
            add_filter('views_edit-post', 'fix_post_counts');
            add_filter('views_upload', 'fix_media_counts');
        }
    }
