    The popular post plugin had been working fine and it did a great job.

    Last night I saw there was an update for it and activated it. I had to redo the image sizes again and thought nothing of it.

    This morning I noticed the traffic had dropped to a couple of hits an hour. Way down from the usual traffic.

    Everything seemed fine to me, but asking on twitter and facebook people had problems – they had database errors or the site would load but no content would show and a few people emailed me with this type of error.

    WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘day_no_time’ in ‘field list’]
    INSERT INTO wrd_popularpostsdatacache (id, day, day_no_time) VALUES (73516, ‘2012-09-03 09:21:16’, ‘2012-09-03’) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE pageviews = pageviews + 1, day = ‘2012-09-03 09:21:16’, day_no_time = ‘2012-09-03’;

    I have deactivated the plugin for now and things seem to be back to normal.

    Do I need to do something different to make it work again or does it need fixing.

    Hope it gets sorted soon as I did like using it.

    Thanks
