• I am a photographer using ProPhoto through www.remarpro.com, and I host through Bluehost. The URL is https://www.janietaylorphoto.com. I had a client comment to me that they can’t get on my website. I tried myself, and nothing comes up (other than a white screen) when my URL is entered. I tried to log in to my admin page using https://www.janietaylorphoto.com/admin, but a page comes up that says “No Upgrade Required. Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!” and then continue. If I press continue it brings me to a website about French Wines (https://frenchwines.ireneshifman.com/). I’m not terribly internet savvy, that’s why I use ProPhoto because it simplifies. Now I’m completely at a loss as to what happened, and what to do now. Where did my website go? How do I get it back?

    I REALLY appreciate your help!

  • Contact BlueHost, it seems your site is empty.

Looks like your site is a blank white page. Sometimes called the ‘White Screen of Death’ (WSOD).
This is usually caused by a plugin or the theme having issues. You can try to check your error logs, or set display_errors to be ‘On’ in your php.ini file.
See if you can try to disable all plugins to see if it is them or not. You can try to rename the plugins folder, or edit the database ‘options’ table to temporarily clear the ‘active plugins’ entry.
