Make existing site responsive.
-
Hi, I have created the following website https://alexhowellart.co.ukand made edits using a child theme based on the TwentyEleven theme. I have just had some feedback that the site works okay on a desktop but not well at all on mobile devices. The contact form doesn’t scale, nor does the navigation or image gallery and I have been advised to make the site responsive for this reason. I’ve started looking into this and am feeling a little overwhelmed and not sure where to start. Is there a way to alter the code I already have to help with this (a longshot I know)? I am assuming I will need to start again with a different template from scratch. I am new to all this and don’t know how to go about selecting a template that would work well for this particular site. There is a list of 50 responsive templates at https://creativecan.com/2012/08/responsive-wordpress-themes but I could do with some advice from someone in the know on selecting a theme that would work well for the site I’ve already created.
Thanks in advance for any help!
