Plugin BulletProof Security Added Security Status Check

  • After uploading the above plugin, I have the following errors on the Security Status page

    “Your Current wp-admin file is NOT backed up yet.”
    “Your BPS Master default.htaccess file is NOT backed up yet”
    “Your BPS Master secure.htaccess file is NOT backed up yet”
    “Your BPS Master wpadmin-secure.htaccess file is NOT backed up yet”
    “Your BPS Master maintenance-htaccess file is NOT backed up yet”
    “Your BPS Master bp-maintenance.php file is NOT backed up yet”
    “Your BPS Master bps-maintenance-values.php file is NOT backed up yet”

    The other messages appear okay on this page.

    I received some other error messages regarding the htaccess file not found in the wpadmin file after I hit the “settings” option before doing a backup. It was found, I believe, in the root file.

    What if anything do I need to do here? I am more of a novice at this so may need a simpler explanation. So far I am able to access my site okay.
