I have a copy of Event Manager installed, and the plugin created a few pages, all with the permalink that began /events.

I get 404 on /events, and by trial and error discovered that the actual page on which the plugin would respond was /upcoming/

The sub-pages all respond on /events/*

I can’t find any way in the plugin’s settings screen to reconcile this.

    Any suggestions?

  • how about if you create brand new pages and assign those as new event pages? you can call them whatever you want to begin with, reassign them in EM settings, and test them out, just to see if it works.

Then, you can rename the slugs etc. of these pages and make them children of the events page. also, see Events > Settings > Pages > Permalink Slugs

is this a normal WP page? Id suggest trying disablign your other plugins and revert to the 20 11 theme temporarily, re-save your permalinks, and try again to see if that helps.

resaving the permalinks (alone) solved the problem. Many thanks.
