  • The links page is easy – you can use for that the links.php Page template (I mean if you make it)
There is also a “links Page” plugin to download from here: https://redalt.com/downloads/

What would the searchbox search for?

it would search the different articles listed. I would show a list of articles but have probably 15 or so listed and other articles saved so that it can still be searched if someone was looking for it.

Wait, in your OP you said this is a page with links to outside articles. That meant to me: all kind of thing on the web not on your website.
    So, now what?

yes it would be outside. does not make sense…i’m sorry. It’s basically going to be a list of travel articles but I would want to save the links to those pages. So if I read an article on golfing in dubai last month I would want to be able to find it. Does this plugin not accomplish this? I’m also trying to find instructions to use this plugin but cannot find it. I got it installed but how do I begin.

Thank moshu for helping so far.

    OK, back to the basics.
When in WP we talk about links they are external links = links to blogs, websites etc. outside our domain.
The links are managed (surprise) by the Links Manager panel.
    admin > Links…
Here you can add/delete/edit + group your links by different LinkCategories.
The plugin I mentioned above should display your links from the Link Manager. Isn’t this what you wanted?

That is what I wanted. Maybe that is where I am confused. I added the plugin. I have the links listed on my links manager but where is that static page. The only difference I notice is that on my template a links page has been added to my template when viewed under theme editor. How do I get to that page?

Did you see the “original” thread about it?

there are a lot of Q&A in it.

no i did not see that. but that is what I was looking for. Thank you moshu.
