• I have a custom, 2 column, theme on a website. I need to copy it to a different website that currently have a custom, 3 column, theme. I didn’t create either of these themes. How do I do this?

  • using ftp you can copy all the theme files from one wp setup to another from the /wp-content/themes/themefolder

Is there a way to do it without ftp?

not a very easy way no…

you’ll then need to create each file from scratch on your pc and copy the content from the editor…

I can see the theme in the file manager on hostmonster. Couldn’t I download it there then upload it into wordpress?

Can you download the complete theme folder?

I can select all, copy it and paste it into another domain on hostmonster. I posted it into the domain I need it to be in but I don’t see it when I sign into WordPress. I haven’t been able to figure out how to download it from hostmonster though.

I stand corrected I do see it now. I reloaded the page, there must have been a time lag. Look like I did it. Thanks for talking it through with me.
