• I love the plugin, which i have installed here as a private gallery called “OTHER”. https://mowlalaw.com When I try to upload multiple images though they do not appear. My developer tells me:

“Will never work if you select all pictures and Upload them. Why? Because the bigger image has a resolution of 2800×2100 and is too big. If you want to work you can resize the photos on a smaller resolution and then you can upload all. I attach a screen to see where the resolution of the image is visible.

the idea is to not upload all of pictures once you must upload them one by one.”

Is this true? is there a file size limitation? If so what is it? It seems insane that I can’t upload images all at once.
    Please advise!
    Thank you.

  • Only just installed this bit noticed the Server Settings.

Open the Gallery plug in on the left and click on overview check out “Server Settings”. Mine says “PHP Max Upload Size : 150M
PHP Max Post Size : 12M

    That may be the problem.

    Hope this helps.

I don’t understand where the “Server Settings” are…I looked on my side panel and in the plug-ins page. Can you please explain a little better?

When you go onto your Dashboard, look down the list on the left for Gallery, then click overview. When it opens, on the far right below other boxes is a box that is titled “Server Settings”, and that is where the information is.

I am not sure if this is only for the theme I am using, (Evolve), or it is in all themes.

I don’t think the single file size is the issue as I have loaded images 4928 x 3264 and being over 13MB in size with no issue, but that was only a few files. What I was thinking was if you are loading up a big gallery of large images it may be over whatever the max you are allowed for your server.

My “Server Settings” are saying this..

    PHP Memory Limit : 64
PHP Max Upload Size : 10M
PHP Max Post Size : 10M

Is there any way to change these numbers so I can just add any file size that I want? I’m just a novice at making webpages. Thanks!

I’m not really up on servers or things, but it may be a good idea to get in touch with your hosting company, and explain the situation and what your settings are and maybe mention what mine are.

If it is that and you don’t get any joy then maybe change hosting company, mine is a good one.

Like I said these are just ideas coming now as I’m not sure and no one else is jumping in.
