Setting up default featured image for category

Hello,

Im trying to setup a default image for specific category of my site. Every time when I post something in news section I want one specific image to appear and its little annoying to do this everytime manually – is there a way to automate the process? I want this only for news category – I tried all possible solutions which I found with google and tried few plugins from here but nothing seems to solve the problem. Little help will be really appreciated.

Im using genesis as my theme if this affect the problem in any way.
