Loop through Media library

  • I need to accomplish two things.
    1. Add a custom meta data to media library attachments.
    2. Loop through the media library and return attachments with specific value in the custom meta data (from above)

    Is this possible or do I have to find an alternative solution.

  • Have you considered using a popular plugin such as NextGen Gallery, where you can customize your images/galleries and add image tags, then output a gallery based on tag(s) with a simple shortcode?

    [nggtags gallery=tag1,tag2]
