My own site template for WP?

Hi. My web site is https://www.beadnerd.com where I’ve been running my own ‘blog’. I am considering using WordPress but want it to use my own site template/feel. That is, same background, my logo and possible buttons(not essential).

I searched topics on creating your own template/theme and it’s way over my head. Is there some way for me (who has limited html experience) to achieve that?
