Lost homepage images after server upgrade

WP novice here – my host conducted an overnight server upgrade designed to improve CPU and memory. However, after completion I have lost most of the integral images on my homepage, only. All other images on all other pages appear to be without issue.

I have tried disabling the last few plugins I installed (including WP smush.it) and nothing is helping.

When I copy the link of the non-working images I get “deprecated” and “warning” messages instead of the image.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
