    Thanks for trying RPS Image Gallery and for letting us know that you found a suitable alternative for your needs.

    I agree it would be nice to have an option for including only the first so many words of a page or post.

    You can specify that the post excerpt be used instead of the post content by setting the “content” shortcode attribute like so:

    [rps-include post=123 content=excerpt]
