I’ve got some trouble with the preload. I’ve turned on debugging and have found that the job will run for approximately 2 minutes, then it just stops. This happens to me on the released version and the dev version.

It never seems to start up again. It doesn’t seem to really finish itself because it leaves behind the mutex.

The final entries in the debug don’t seem catastrophic or anything. It essentially looks like this:

01:10:19 /2011/11/11/support-wp7-orientation-without-rotation/ Sending buffer to browser
    01:10:19 /2011/11/11/support-wp7-orientation-without-rotation/ wp_cache_shutdown_callback: collecting meta data.
    01:10:19 /2011/11/11/support-wp7-orientation-without-rotation/ Did not write meta file: wp-cache-bdcda65d53e19ecbda2da74af9f6b3be.meta *1* *0* *1*

  • Is there any error in your php error log? Did it time out perhaps?

I sent a request to DreamHost. I’m on shared hosting and they said I had exceeded the memory allotment for the day. I suspect because I had been messing with it all day.

So, I’m going to give it a try again without futzing with it over and over.
