Getting the drop down for TOC to work

  • I have a table of contents set up through the “Menu” option for my WordPress site. I need my table of contents to drop down when the main links are hovered over.

    I have my pages set up so that the parent pages and sub-pages are established. When I test the site, the TOC does not drop down to show the pages that belong to the parent page.

    I know I’m missing something, but am not sure what I’m doing wrong. All help is greatly appreciated!

  • Using the parent-child page relationship and then also adding pages to a custom menu (and creating parent-child menu items) can and often does create this issue. Either switch to the default pages menu, or remove the parent-child page relationships and build custom menu as desired.
