[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] my sitemap is not updating

One option is you can update manually.

For me, it just doesn’t work. I almost gave up on this thing. It cannot even create a sitemap on my site krinalmehta.com

I have also deleted this plugin because it has become useless.

Arne: I clicked on the “more information” link in my settings page for XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.2.8. You provided the exact same download link that you suggested above more than two years ago, for beta testing. I’ve read all seven pages of comments from beta testers, most of whom could not get it to work. The comments were closed one year ago, so I have no way of knowing what the current status of your beta version is. I have just struggled with 3 nightmare weeks after upgrading to WP 3.4.1, which crashed my site big time, and am just getting it stable again. There is no way I want to do any “testing” on the site, as I’ve already lost 40% of my organic search traffic due to being down. Your plugin (the existing one I am using), does work if I uncheck building the gzip version and do it manually, but it is really difficult to have to do it manually every day, especially since I am a perpetual traveler who is often in developing countries where I have limited access to Internet. Can you tell us if your plugin will be upgraded any time soon? Appreciate any info you can provide.

I have the latest version for XML Sitemap Generator plugin and I’m getting the same error message.

Your sitemap is being refreshed at the moment. Depending on your blog size this might take some time!
Due to limitations of the WordPress scheduler, it might take another 60 seconds until the build process is actually started.

I can rebuild the sitemap manually, but not automatically.

Will be a fix for this Arne?

I’m also having the same issue after the most recent update. Manually updating seems to be the only thing that works?
