Can’t promote users above level 8?

  • Setting up blogs for some teachers. I’m the creator/admin. I set up one teacher, promoted her to level 9. Now I can’t “demote” her, and new teachers (assistants) can’t get promoted to level 9 – 8 is the max. This must be design behavior, can anyone point me in the right direction to understand the author/user config options? THANKS

  • I’ve got a test blog using 1.5.2 and just promoted a Level 8 user to Level 9 and demoted a Level 9 user to Level 8.

    Any customization to your WordPress? Any special plugins causing the problem?
