"File is empty" error and (Pending) menu items

  • Hi… I just did a fresh installation of WP 3.4.1 on a Suse Enterprise Server 11 with PHP 5.3.8

    Every time I try to upload an image I get the “File is empty” error no matter what size or format the image is, I already checked my php.ini and phpinfo() that file_uploads is on and upload_max_filesize is 2M.

    Another thing that I noticed is that when I try to add a menu item, it shows up as (Pending) and it doesn’t get saved.

    I used SQLYog to create db, and to check and repair all tables with use_frm option but that didn’t help either.

    Is there anybody with a solution to this?
