promo code linking to page

  • I want to put a small box with a text field in it on the homepage. The box will say enter promo code/deals code.
    So basically when someone enters the correct promo code or password(that I set) and click ok they will be directed to a normal wordpress page with deals/content on it.
    Im aware you can password protect pages but from a promotional/professional stand point this doesn’t look right for what I want.
