[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] PageSpeed Still Says I Need Browser Caching

I installed W3 Total Cache on my site.
I followed these instructions to set up browser caching, but for some reason, when I run the Google PageSpeed test, it’s still telling me that I need to enable browser caching.
I thought it might take a day or so for the changes to take effect, but it’s been over 24 hours since I set this stuff up.
When I click on the “Leverage Browser Caching” link at the PageSpeed site, it says:
The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:
Then it proceeds to list a bunch of URL’s and each URL says (expiration not specified) after it.
Any idea why the browser caching doesn’t seem to be working?
