Shortcode

  • Is it possible to make a shortcode that links to any post on my blog as long as I have have put it in brackets e.g.

    [Your Link goes here]

  • If I understand you correctly, the answer is No. Shortcodes have a very strict format:

    • [
    • the name of the shortcode, which is normally just lower-case letters
    • optionally, one or more of the following:
    • blank
    • parameter name
    • =
    • parameter value
    • ]
