Delete user

    I seem to be unable to delete users from my WordPress, although I’m logged in with the administrator account.

    The user I want to delete has the same emailadres as the admin account, could that have something to do with it?

    Ahha! I created a new user, and I can delete that one without a problem.

    But the ‘user’ i was talking about in the previous post, is in fact an “author” … how do I delete an author?

    Is this a Beta issue ?

    You need to lower the user’s level to 0 (thus dropping them from an “author” to a “registered user”), then you will be able to delete the user.

    No this is not a beta issue … I’m running WP 1.5.2

    I’ve lowered his level to “1”, and he’s still in the “authors” list …

    Again, you need to lower the user’s level to 0 (zero, not one), thus dropping them from an “author” to a “registered user”, then you will be able to delete the user.

    argh. spank me. I would have sworn that I dropped that user all the way down to 0, but it was in fact indeed “1”, thanks for your patience :p
