  • I do the test in a clean wordpress installation whit Buddypress s2Member and Buddypress Facebook, and the site it’s ok!

    maybe whit a another plugin

    Hi
I just experienced the same thing ??
I do not think I quite understood the order of installation of the Mirror Profile Field Title. I got the “White Screen of death” I had too rename the plugin folder with this plugin before I could get back to the site!?
I have just installed the Google Plus plugin without problems, but I can not uninstall your plugin and install it again without getting the “White Screen of Death”? It would seem to be a database problem – how do I fix it? – I really like this plugin to work!

list to me your active plugins please… i will trie the same configuration here.

    regards

    Akismet
    bbPress
    BuddyPress
    Buddypress Extended Settings
    BuddyPress Google Plus (works fine)
    BuddyPress Profile Privacy
    BuddyPress Toolbar
    BuddyPress Twitter
    BuddyPress xProfiles ACL
    CubePoints
    CubePoints Buddypress Integration

    Theme: Salutation

All plugins are of the newest date.

BuddyPress Klout I also had some problems with – it did work but it did not give me the White Screen of death.

    I really would love to get a BuddyPress LinkedIn too… ? ??

i tested with the same configuration, exception salutation theme.

pherhaps the conflict is the them with buddypress facebook.
    check whit another theme…

    regards

    I’ve got the same problem!

    white screen of death…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/skypepro/public_html/talk2prof.com/sp/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-facebook/includes/facebook-groups-extension.php on line 107

now I can’t even log in… very worried!

Same problem here, I think I also messed up with the mirror field. I read the instructions after the white screen.

However now I can’t reinstall the plugin because everytime I active it again it crashes my WP Admin. Anyone can help perhaps with getting this thing out of my database so I can try again?

Well it definately is the problem with the group. You can use the plugin as long as you don’t use the group functionality. Than everything works fine.

I reinstalled my complete wordpress after I tried to edit the database to get this thing out I screwd up my total wordpress.

So reinstalled fresh install for everything, than added Buddypress put in all the right settings. Than added the mirror fields to my profile fields.

Than installed, Buddypress Facebook plugin activated it, added ONLY the mirror field and no group usage.

    And everything works fine now.

    Hi everyone

Its definitely hard to solve the problem of the group.
Once you fix the problem, i will make available the update.
If anyone has any idea, let me know.

    Best regards

hello, here is what someone else had stated to it fixing the issue, however it didnt end up working for me or maybe i was just doing it wrong.

“Just for anyone downloading this plugin the error is still there. You can fix it easily by goign to line 107 and at the end (line 108 pending on your editor) remove the ‘?>’ and place it above the call i.e. in line 106

It worked for me so hope it helps. Great plugin thank you”

I resolved this issue by deleting four keys in my options table (wp_84ikeq_options) – fbcj-members, fbcj-groups, fbcj_member_label, & fbcj_group_label, then reinstalling and reactivating the plugin.

The key to setting this up properly is to create the profile field first, then turn on the members option, hit save, fill in textfield with name of profile field, then save again.

Same problem here. Won’t reinstall unless problem is solved

    Has this issue been resolved?

As long as you make the Profile field BEFORE you activate the plugin you can consider this solved. Would be usefull to add this kind of information in the plugin description since it becomes a rather hard thing to undo if you do it the wrong way around
