[Plugin: Postie] Post Format Types Not Applying

    After several attempts I’ve got Postie working and doing 99% of what I want it to. However, the theme I’m using allows a default Post Format to be set and they are not being applied to my posts.

    I’ve set the default format I want in the Settings > Writing and it works if I post manually. However, when I post via email, it does not apply any format. As a result, the images do not show up in my theme (they only show if you choose “image” as the format type).

    Any ideas on how to get around this? Perhaps a hack to the Postie plugin? It’s not like Postie is going to be updated or anything, so changing the code shouldn’t be a problem.
