[Plugin: WP to Twitter] Fatal error. Can not get to options page

That’s unusual. I can see what’s happening; your site is failing to make an HTTP connection, which is causing a number of problems. It’s surprising to me that you’re the only report of this issue – what version of PHP are you running?

Strangely enough, the problem solved itself. I don’t know why or how, but with this plugin (or Twitter) it sometimes happens that it doesn’t function, and then it does, and then it doesn’t ;).

It probably means that your server is having issues consistently contacting Twitter. There are many possible reasons for this, one of which is solvable — if you’re having trouble due to out of date SSL certificate information, you can switch to using HTTP connections and that problem will go away.

This won’t help, of course, if your problem isn’t related to using the HTTPS protocol.

I’m having the same issue. I first noticed there was something wrong because tweets were not sending right, so i tried to go into the options page and i get the error:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/content/k/i/l/killersilver/html/_sites/univerciudad/web/wp-content/plugins/wp-to-twitter/wp-to-twitter-oauth.php on line 255

I didn’t touch anything on the settings before it started to happen, also, i didn’t even update wordpress nor any plugins which could led to the plugin’s failure.

UPDATE: as i was writing this post i tried to go into the options again and it loaded. So, i don’t know what’s wrong.

This should be fixed in 2.4.7, but let me know if you still experience it.
