Looks like the developers must have run into some problems with the new release since it was due out on the 1st. I was looking forward to some of the new features today, but I’ll gladly wait until they have everything ready.
WP is a great piece of software and it’s FREE! Can’t beat that.
Anyone have the inside scoop on when it might be released now?

It’s coming along – there were some bug fixes today, but I think it is one last feature that is holding it up at this point.

i was just wondering: did i miss something.. where do I download 1.0 ? I want to wait for 1.0 before I hack up the design.. so that I am working with the newest files.. but where do I get it?
Maybe I am just missing it.. but it seems that I can only find 0.72 ?

0.72 is the latest “stable” build… 1.0 is the beta version in CVS, and it’s not stable yet. But you CAN snag it from the CVS if you want.

matthew, all stable releases are announced on the Dev Blog (for some reason, it doesn’t have an rss feed though), and via the mailing list, which you can subscribe to at the bottom of this page.
