Things seem to be falling into place

  • I invite you all to check out my photolog, which now does archiving and thumbnailed categories. (I’ve mentioned it a while ago, but there were numerous problems then).

    Things seem to look ok on IE and Gecko based browsers on Windows and Linux. KHTML (Safari) seems to have some problems, but please let me know if it works (well) with your browser.

    And people interested in some details can go here.

  • That looks very nice. You certainly put a lot of effort into it. I’ve downloaded your theme and will try it on my blog, as I have looking for a long time for a way to add my photographic library.

    Thanks Jim! I do have to warn you that the files I’d uploaded aren’t simply a theme (I am lazy), but if you poke around a bit you’ll know which sections you need to steal and paste where. I was contemplating waiting for WP1.6/2.0 (after all the exposed API stuff stabilised) and releasing it as a plugin (after upgrading my own photolog from a much older WP). I’ve just been using things since WP was b2, and got into the unfortunate habit of (uncleanly) going inside and mucking with things to suit my needs.
