[Plugin: Online Backup for WordPress] Error -The backup failed:

  • Error – The backup failed: The connection to your blog failed. This may be a temporary failure or your blog may not be accessible over the internet. Please try again later.

    I don’t seem to understand why one of my hosting is always receiving this error and others didn’t. The server status seems to run fine and I can access the host successfully through http and ftp.

    Is there a way to test my hosting server or is there a minimum requirement for bandwidth and server load?

    How can also expand the 100mb online storage to atleast 500mb?

    Hi shiftersbox,

    If you login to WordPress and go to Settings -> General, what is your WordPress address?

    I’ll try to access it from our system.

    Normally the error is because the URL doesn’t work from the general internet, because it is a local only address, or if there are some DNS issues. I can check all this for you.
