[Plugin: Events] How to link to page

    Hi,

    I’m sure I’m missing something… When creating an event there’s an option to make the title a link. No problem there, I found the checkbox. BUT, how do I know what the url is of the newly created event?

    My goal is to have a list with events showing only the date and title and have the title as a link to the events page with all necessary information.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • You specify the URL in a field further down the form. This is a separate page you have to create yourself.

    Ok, thanks for your answer. In that case this probably in’t the plugin for me as I’d have to create a new page/post for the event detail page and create an item to have it displayed in the list. Too bad as I really like this plugin … it was all very easy to set up and customize.

    Anyway, thanks for the quick reply.

    You can link to the same page from multiple events – you don’t need a separate page for each. For example, I display a short-list of events in the sidebar widget, but each one links back to my main “Events” page (which contains the full event description). https://www.hammondneighbours.ca/

    I created a page, and I inserted shortcodes.

    Just follow up question on the thread. I have integrated this event plugin in my wordpress blog. I have created some events and created a page which shows all these events in one page.
    But I also wanted to put a link on each event which redirects to any user to that event description page. I understand that if I create a separate page/post and give that page link to any event, I can able to do that. But,
    I don’t want to create a separate page/post for these events.
    Do anyone have any idea how to achieve this?
