Header Images refuses to cooperate
-
My header image refuses to display at the dimensions it should. Brief background: Earlier today I was trying to upload an image 375px wide by 50px high, then change the header background to match the main background. I tinkered for a while and made some adjustments to the header image size, but before I could figure out how to change the header background I realized it would just be easier to create a new image that was 1000px wide with the background I wanted.
So that’s what I did…except now my header image is crammed into a space that I’m pretty sure is 375px wide by 50px high. I’ve double checked my functions file to make sure the standard dimensions are set back to 1000 x 288, and I’ve used ctrl F to search for 375 throughout my functions, header, and css files, but to no avail.
I’ve even created images that were 50px high by 2000px wide, as well as the latest one at 1000px wide by 150px high. It’s still cramming them all into the same space, even after removing the files from WP, renaming them, clearing my cache, and anything else I can think of. I’m utterly stumped.
