Hi – looked thru’ forum but can’t see same problem. I have set up a table and thought that I could just post in the html code for the amazon affiliate link in the table. When I do this I get (inside the cell) a mini version of my webpage with the text ‘Not Found – Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.’ – what I am looking for is the text and picture link for the book in amazon and when I click it, taking me through to the amazon store.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks
    Rhona

  • The Amazon link is in a widget which links to the graphic at Amazon with an iframe.

[Edit]The info for that is in the options table.

    Hi,
I’m not sure I follow you. I have the iframe code for the photo and text link for a book on amazon. I placed this inside the table but as I said I don’t get the photo and text link like I would expect. I know that I can use the ‘add link’ button but then it wants text to use as the click thru link – I don’t want that.

    Thanks

it’s working!!! I had copied the iframe text from amazon aff to the html page on WP then copied again from there to the table after I decided to use the tables plugin. Strangely doing this didn’t work but if I cut and paste directly from amazon – no problem.

    Thanks

    Hi Rhona,

great that you got it to work! ?? Likely, some parts of the code got mangled somehow during the copy&paste processes. Using the code directly from the source is thus always the option.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
